Kierra Sheard Net Worth $10 Million
Kierra Valencia Sheard is a daughter of Bishop J. Drew Sheard and Karen Clark-Sheard a member of The Clark Sisters. At a young age she showed an interest in singing, so she became a member of Church of God in Christ choir, pastored by her father. She studied at Wayne State University in Detroit and graduated with a BA degree in English and a minor in psychology.
Kierra`s career began while she was still a child, singing two songs on her mother`s debut album “Finally Karen”, released in 1997. After that, she was a backing vocal for her mother and aunt, Dorinda Clark-Cole, in their band The Clark Sisters. However, as she grew older, Kierra`s interest in music increased, and she released her debut album entitled “I Owe You” in 2004. The album was quite successful, topping the Billboard Gospel charts and also Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Two years later, Kierra released her second album, entitled “This Is Me”, repeating the success of its predecessor, topping the Billboard Gospel chart, and its sales certainly increased her net worth.
She continued in the same rhythm, and released her third album “Bold Right Life” in 2008, and also collaborated with Mary Mary on their song “God In Me”, the success of which also increased her net worth.
After that, her popularity began to decline, however she remains active as a singer; in 2011, Kierra released her fourth album, entitled “Free”, which received mixed reviews, due to the style change, taking more modern approach, incorporating dance-pop and R`n`B parts to her songs. However, she attracted a new public thanks to the style change, and started building her name in the new musical area. Her next album, entitled “Graceland” (2014), topped the iTunes chart, and earned several nominations for Stellar Awards.
Most recently, Kierra has released an EP, entitled “Led” (2015), the sales of which also added to her net worth.
She has also been recognized as a designer, creating the Fall/Winter collection of Eleven60, as an honor to her mother Karen Clark-Sheard.
Regarding her personal life, Kierra tends to keep her private life away from the public, since few details about her, apart from successful career, are known.
